Here at the studio we are always meeting new people.
New people with new projects. New people with new ideas. To keep a studio running its not enough to just be a great designer and a spot on problem solver. You need to get involved with the community that makes design relevant.
Clients
It's so important to get involved with other people's ideas. Involved with your clients mission and goals. Clients are more than accounts. They are people. People out in the world trying to get their message and product out to other people. When a client comes to us with a project I want to know not just about the project, but about them. Why are they in this business. How did they get started. Everyone, everything has a story. And that's where good design sense starts. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Peers
We are not the only designers in the world. For real. And that's great! It's so important to expose yourself to new methods and ideas. Peer insight is invaluable, as is the strong network of collaborators that can be amassed though making contact with other great creative minds. We're always making connections with professionals who help bring our diverse projects to life. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Community
Just look around. On your street corner or in your office. It's full of people. People make design possible. Great design is all about good communication. And though it may seem obvious, without people there is no one to communicate with. It is important to always be taking note of people. People of all sorts, from the checkout line to those making headlines. We're always looking and listening to what people are saying and doing. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
